En Vivo - Spain mission

February in Spain … 

Since a month ago I’m in Spain and I am very happy to be here helping in the ministry, meeting students from En Vivo… this is  a very nice experience and it is something that fills my heart. 

We have already started with all activities, Tertulia on Mondays,En Vivo on Thursdays and Cafe Ingles on Wednesdays … but there is something special we’re doing and that is proving very good, we have a “Prayer’s Room” is a special place in the house, which is decorated with verses on the walls, different versions of the Bible, a really big piece of paper for students who want to write something to share about God and prayer requests. 

The truth is that this “Prayer’s Room” is giving a lot of results, we have students all day in En Vivo,  and out of the room to pray, alone, with friends and team members. At first I was afraid that this idea did not work but thank God is working and if people are leaving an hour of their busy lives to come and spend time with God in En Vivo. 

In another two weeks, on Tuesday, 23 February I have the blessing of the talk in the Tertulia (Donce en Chile), I really feel blessed to be able to do it  because it is a moment in which I hope God speaks through me to the students. 

I ask that you keep praying for me, that this time I have left in Spain may be a time where I can know more the students and even returned to Chile, can continue to have a relationship with them and also ask you to pray for all the semester is beginning in En Vivo.

Hace un mes que estoy en Espana y estoy muy feliz de estar aca ayudando en el ministerio, conociendo a los estudiantes de En Vivo, ha sido una experiencia muy linda y de verdad es algo que llena mi corazon.

Ya hemos comenzado con todas las actividades, Tertulia, EN Vivo, Cafe Ingles… pero hay algo en especial que estamos haciendo y que esta resultando muy bien, tenemos una “Pieza de la Oracion”, es un lugar especial en la casa, el cual esta decorado con versiculos en las paredes, diferentes versiones de la Biblia, papeles murales para que los estudiantes escriban algo que quieran compartir sobre Dios y peticiones de oracion.

La verdad es que esta “Pieza de la Oracion” esta dando mucho resultados, tenemos estudiantes todo el dia en En Vivo, entrando y saliendo de la pieza para orar, solos, con amigos y con miembros del equipo. En un principio tenia miedo de que esta idea no funcionara pero gracias a Dios si esta funcionando y la gente esta dejando una hora de sus ocupadas vidas para venir y pasar tiempo con Dios en En Vivo.

En dos semanas mas, el martes 23 de febrero tengo la bendicion de hacer la charla de la Tertulia (Donce en Chile), de verdad me siento bendecida de poder hacerlo ya que es un momento en el cual espero que Dios hable a traves de mi a los estudiantes.

Les pido que sigan orando por mi, para que este tiempo que me queda en Espana sea un tiempo en el que pueda conocer mas a los estudiantes y aunque regrese a Chile, pueda seguir teniendo una relacion con ellos y tambien les pido que oren por todo el semestre que esta comenzando eca en En Vivo.
